Why transfer video to digital?
Analog video and time are not allies - each year that passes increases the risk of deterioration or even total loss of video quality: snow, drop-outs, fuzziness, tracking, etc. Transfer today before you risk losing your memories forever.
What's the best output format for my tapes?
Tapes generally have 240-480 lines of resolution. This is good for standard DVD's or AVI files that can be edited on your home computer. Alternatively, blu-ray disc makes a great archive format as multiple tapes (up to 12 hrs) can fit onto one disc and organized with a professional navigation menu and chapters.
